Kill Team Musings...

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team on Steam
Kill team is a pretty fun game that I really don't get to play very often, but the opportunities it provides to build "affordable" (by GW standards anyways) armies is almost too good to pass up.

I am able to resist the urge to purchase more minis, but possibly NOT indefinitely. So, in order to be able to maintain my resolve I have decided to keep a bunch of ideas for Kill Teams going in order to have them at hand should I make any purchases in the future. Kind of like a wish list...

SPACE MARINES

I was thinking that a Marine Kill Team would be fun, and I REALLY like the idea of using the awesome looking Mark IV marines that GW has in addition to the Tartaros pattern Terminators.
One of the main draws of this project is that I LOVE the Rogue Trader era weapons! They hold a VERY special place in my heart as this was when I first became interested in the Warhammer universe.
The combibolter that comes with the Mark IV kit is out of this world!!! I feel that it would make an AWESOME Bloodsong conversion for  Erasmus Tycho. Or even some Dark Anel Goodness as the Lion's Wrath.

These guys are not only AWESOME models, but they also help me sleep at night because I don't have to decide on which chapter I want to build and inevitably end up changing my mind! I can have them ALL!!!!
Scenery
I have a cool statue from MANY moons ago, and I found this cool art of it. I'm not going to paint the statue this way, but it looks cool. I think the statue will be either brass with patina or stone with moss...

Imperial Guard
I've never really thought about making an IG Kill Team, but this guy has definitely made it an option.
