I just made the finishing touches to my Shadespire staircase. I shared some WIP pics on a couple of FB groups, and had a large number of suggestions that it needed to be on a hex base... So I made one.
I used the board art as reference again, and sculpted the different tile types right right onto the hexes.
The whole project is made completely from scratch using plasticard, superglue, and Green Stuff.
This project was A LOT of work, but I think it will be worth it when I have paint on it and my board becomes a little less 2D.
